String Orchestra Conductor Score & Parts

Andante and Allegro is an excellent vehicle for working on contrasting bow strokes and tempos. The Andante should be very legato; using long connected bow strokes. Phrases should be smooth and expressive. In contrast, bowings for the Allegro should be short, detached; using a brush stroke. Eight-notes are light and airy using a spiccato bow stroke. First violins have passages with limited third position work. Fingerings have been added to provide a reference for the Director. Optional third violin and piano parts have been included.
