Ballet of Spring – Full Score

Description

Ballet of Spring or Ballet Du Printemps is reminiscent of a set of Medieval dances. The music reflects a synthesis of modal flavor of that period with a more traditional triadic harmonic foundation.

The director should never let the tutti section get too heavy. The composition has many sections which allow a variety of instrumental colors. Let the percussion add an additional color to the ensemble and never allow them to cover the winds.
