Red Rocks Suite is not intended to be descriptive music although the beauty of this magnificent amphitheater has provided the inspiration for the highly melodic themes in this composition.
Red Rocks open air theater, in the foothills west of Denver, seats 15,000 and its stage can accommodate several hundred musicians for summer concerts.
Gigantic rocks that form the enclosure on three sides create the natural acoustics of a great ‘concert hall’ that only God could build.
