Telemann Suite

Description

The first movement of this suite was subtitled “Der Scherzende Tritonus”, loosely translated, “a playful piece in three part harmony”. In the second movement it will be noted that the two minuets have been reversed in that the treble line of the first becomes the bass line of the second and vice versa. The third movement (Vite), Telemann considered “modern” and should be taken in a quick and lively pace as is comfortable.
