Description

This is an incredibly unique setting of the familiar English folksong! With the feel of a tone poem, the melody becomes secondary to the lush harmonics that develop. A variety of added chord tones and suspensions creates a sad reflectiveness reminiscent of the music of “Mannheim Steamroller.” A very original composition that works for both holiday and traditional concerts!
