Description

This arrangement can be performed by a string quartet, quintet, or string orchestra. Optional third violin and piano parts have been included. All parts are written in first position with an occasional fingering for half position. The Bass must shift in measures 17 and 19 for a C sharp. Play contrasting dynamics when taking the repeat. Eighth-notes marked with a”.” should be played spiccato. Quarter-notes marked with a “” should be articulated with space between each note. Fingerings have been added to provide a reference for the Director. The symbol”+4″ indicates an extended fourth finger. The ” I” symbol is a backward extension.
