Description
It was my intent to approach this traditional melody through the eyes of a guitar player. The use of arpeggios, flamenco riffs, and jazz harmonies are included as a way to spice up but not interfere with this well-known tune that has been the source of several settings for numerous genres. The arrangement is simple and straight-forward. I hope it adds a little variety to your holiday experience. Greensleeves is dedicated to my good friend Andy Sealy. It was commissioned to commemorate the Hebron High School Band’s (Lewisville, Texas) performance at the 63rd Annual Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago.
