Description
This childhood gospel has been arranged for string orchestra. All parts have been written in first position. Eighth-notes should be played in swing style. Violins and violas share solos of equal importance. The cello and bass sections have a delightful walking bass line. Some basses will need to drop out early to be ready for the pizzicato at letter E. Basses will also need to prepare for the return of arco five measures from the end. Fingerings have been added to provide a reference for the Director. Optional third violin and piano parts have been included.
