Two short folks songs arranged by Percy Grainger are paired together in this expressive scoring for concert band by Leroy Osmon. Using a standard wind-band instrumentation, Osmon is careful to keep the Grainger flavor through both lyric pieces. The result is a very playable and musical work of historical relevance that bands of various grade levels can perform with great success.
